First sign of Spring

With the sun shining and yesterday’s unexpected snowfall having quickly dissolved into puddles of muck it seemed like close to good conditions for a walk and so I made my way from Sparrow Hills all the way back to Kievskaya, via the riverside. A car pulled over to make a pitstop and the driver, clearly desperate to relieve himself, took a moment or two to deliberate how best to position his shoulder-width stance, discretely avoiding the rubbernecking gaze of oncoming auto passengers while also hiding his act from pedestrians on the other side of him. His solution may have some sort of allegorical meaning: he shielded himself from the majority line of sight using the body of his car, urinated all over his own vehicle, got back in, and drove off.
