Poor Dmitri Medvedev. A speech he gave to honor Russia’s special forces while he was still president of the Russian Federation was added to the list of officially banned materials by the Ministry of Justice.

It’s not his fault – the speech was transcribed in the journal Радикальная политика, which has come under fire for extremism in the past – but the fact that Medvedev’s remarks are now officially on the list of banned materials I think speaks to the title of this post: stick a fork in him.

Речь Д.Медведева попала в список экстремистских материалов

Речь Дмитрия Медведева во время награждения спецназовцев попала в федеральный список экстремистских материалов, который опубликован на сайте Министерства юстиции РФ.

В список запрещенных материалов был включен выпуск газеты “Радикальная политика” за сентябрь 2011г., в которой перепечатали с сайта Кремля текст поздравительной речи Д.Медведева, бывшего тогда президентом.

Запрещенный материал полностью копировал текст речи, размещенный пресс-службой Кремля. В этом же выпуске есть перепечатки статей из журнала “Огонек” и подборка заголовков информагентств.

В ноябре 2012г. издатель “Радикальной политики” Борис Стомахин был арестован в рамках дела, возбужденного по статье “Призывы к терроризму”. Ранее он уже был осужден по этой статье и отсидел 4 года.

Д.Медведев произнес поздравительную речь во время награждения 10-й бригады спецназа орденом Жукова.

Photographer Igor Shpilenok spent seven months with the community of bears at the Kronotsky Nature Reserve in Russia.

The junkie bears, addicted to discarded barrels of aircraft fuel and Kerosene, have gone to extreme lengths just to get a sniff of the fumes emanating from the barrels.

After sniffing the barrels of gasoline and kerosene, the addicted bears dig a shallow hole and lie down there to revel in the trip.

In one case a helicopter brought a few barrels of gasoline. Workers of the nature reserve didn’t take them away in time and a female bear named Suzemka – who is apparently fascinated by the smell of fuel – used the opportunity… She seems to be one of the addicts.
